I'm still not sure why you have us ahead of Missouri
We get blown out by Florida, they lose a close one to Okie State. Seems like they have better wins and we have a much worse loss.

I don’t think their wins are all that better. Nebraska isn’t that good and the shine is completely off the Illinois win. Neither LSU nor Mizzou can brag about their wins right now. And we got blown out by UF, but UF is a much better team than Oklahoma St (OSU gets the high rank based on the resume right now but I don’t believe they’ll hold the rank). And Mizzou was terrible against OSU. I don’t think Mizzou ahead of LSU is indefenisble or anything, but I do think we’re over-reacting to one bad loss as LSU fans.

Utah?
How does Utah jump 7 for beating a weak Wyoming team? Utah’s two “name” wins are over Oregon State – a middle of the road Pac 10 team that lost to Stanford – and over what’s probably the worst Michigan team since I’ve been alive.
Be honest with yourself – on a neutral field, would you put money on the Utes over Texas Tech, LSU, Ohio State, or Mizzou? I sure wouldn’t.

When will everyone realize that Nick Satan is just winning with Mike Shula’s team?

Does that really matter?
Did we care when Les was winning with Saban’s team?
It takes more than just having the players. The ship needs a good captain to keep it on course.

Why does the media hate LSU?
Although we did get embarassed against Florida it still does not make any sense that USC is ranked higher than LSU. First off, Florida was a #12 ranked team while the trojans lost to an unranked Oregon State team and yet they sit at #6. This has been known to happen throughout history. If you look at the 2003 National Championship deservingly won against Oklahoma you see a whining USC team claiming to be co-champs. The sad part is the media loves USC and hates LSU and throws around the disclaimer that the Pac-10 is just as tough as the SEC. Thats no where near the truth, the SEC is by far tougher, faster, and just plain better than the Pac-10. Of course USC is always good when they play teams like Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Stanford, etc.; while LSU’s conference play is against power houses like Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, etc. They don’t give enough credit, not only to LSU, but to any SEC team that is in the running for a National Championship.

correction
USC is #8 not #6 which still doesn’t change the fact that they are ranked ahead of LSU
