I'll add some explanations later, but there was almost no movement at the top of the poll, while the bottom half was chaos. You can draw an imaginary line after #12, that's where I believe the gap between contenders and non-contenders are (though I am firmly not a believer in Texas Tech).
Bama finally drops from #1 because they need to realize football games take two halves. And Texas has looked awesome. They've earned the top spot.
