Franklin Officially Scapegoated
Tony Franklin is officially out at Auburn. Failing to improve the nation's 97th ranked offense is quite a task, but one Franklin accomplished. Auburn is currently ranked 104th in total offense and 103rd in scoring offense. Way to support a defense currently ranked 2nd in the nation among scoring defense.
But me and Franklin do see eye to eye on one thing.
When asked what was the best part at being of Auburn, Franklin said, ``no comment.''
Amen, brother.

Somehow or another, I think that guy has gotten a raw deal. The sad thing is, he will probably never get another shot at being an OC on this level, and whatever went wrong at Auburn it wasn’t HIS offense that failed. It was some other offense.

Right on Richard...
The problems at Auburn run a lot deeper than Franklin. Tubby’s position coaches ruined that offense, not Franklin.
When asked “what was the best part about being at Auburn” He should have said “This”.
I don’t think Tubby survives this to be honest.

Well, at least Auburn’s got Martin Heidegger running down quotes for Alabama.com. That’s impressive.
