He definitely had a rough start. Let’s hope this rain delay lets him settle down. If he can get through this first inning without any more damage, I think we’re OK. Maybe.

Any word on when they'll make an official call?
Over at Baseball America, Aaron Fitt makes it sound like the entire schedule may be pushed back a day if L.S.U.-U.N.C. doesn’t resume tonight.
Admittedly, as a Georgia fan, I have an ulterior motive (this year, for the first time ever, teams traveling through the losers’ bracket get a day off between games, which dilutes the advantage of being 2-0; the last thing I want is for Stanford to have another 24 hours within which to negate the benefit of the Diamond Dogs’ having won their first two outings in Omaha), but I’m really hoping they get this one in tonight.
Here’s hoping the S.E.C. regular-season champs and the S.E.C. tournament champs meet in the final!

I also would prefer that this game be played, even though at this point there is no way I can stay up to watch it. If UNC gets an extra day, they might decide to bring back Alex White, who frightens the hell out of me.
