So...
I probably would have a different opinion on this if I was still in school…
But,
If LSU is playing a rent-a-win team, at this point in our program I’m more concerned about national exposure. Sure you could say “well at this point in the program what does one extra national game really mean?” But I’d rather give in to the TV networks on a game like appy state (and let the recruits see us one extra time) and then be able to schedule the LSU-UGA game or LSU-BAMA game whenever the hell we please. To me, I’m going to attend the game if it is the hottest day in LA recorded history or if it is a nice 65 degree night game, so will all the fans. I want our boys to be playing at night when we think they will need it.
