One of the things that I have enjoyed the most since the move over to the SBNation network has been interacting with the bloggers for some other teams. I've been most active with Roll Bama Roll and with T. Kyle King at Dawg Sports. Both are very enjoyable blogs to read and almost never make me angry.
On Tuesday night, Todd from RBR had me help him record a Podcast talking about LSU football. He was the host. I was the guest. Here's an embed. It's rather long, but I think we did a very good job despite some technical hitches that are explained in the audio:
I've now done a radio show and a couple of podcasts, and I have to say I am my own toughest critic. I always thought I had a high degree of self-awareness, but I never quite knew how I sounded or noticed a few verbal habits. For example, if I want to emphasize something, I will double the emphasizing adjective. For example, I will say a player is "very very athletic" or a team is "really really good". I never noticed it until tonight.
Anyway, give it a listen. It was a lot of fun for me to do, and I hope a lot of fun for others to hear.
