Matt Flynn is waging his own small quarterback battle in Green Bay. If Brett Favre isn't a Packer come September, Flynn could find himself as the No. 2 behind Aaron Rogers.

[LSU commitment Chris] Garrett, the nation’s No. 15 rated quarterback by Rivals.com, made an unofficial visit to LSU last weekend and brought along Tupelo High teammate Chris Bumphis (5-11, 185) — the nation’s No. 19 rated wide receiver — to visit with both coaches and players.

Bumphis has narrowed his choices to LSU and Alabama, Garrett said, but with the Tigers expected to receive a commitment Monday from Rayville wide receiver Kenny Bell [No. 20 Rivals WR] the odds are that Bumphis may be headed to Tuscaloosa.
