All the appetizers are finished

This game goes off in 40 minutes! There hasn’t been a close game yet, and both undercards were won by the visiting team. A trend?

Good evening all.

Agh! Short passing. I hates it.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 6:55 PM CDT reply actions

TT

Wonder how Toliver got that open downfield earlier?

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 6:58 PM CDT reply actions

I assume that’s why we haven’t seen more of Holliday returning punts.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:09 PM CDT reply actions

Draw on third down

I usually hate that call, but I actually think that was the right play, even if it didn’t get the first down. I don’t really want any of our qbs throwing on 3rd and 13.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:14 PM CDT reply actions

what do you think about the FG try here?

I think I might punt

I like it

And I typed that above before he made it, heh.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:16 PM CDT reply actions

Figgie!

46 yards, right down the middle! Well done, Colt!

by Poseur on Sep 20, 2008 7:16 PM CDT reply actions

Even after that pass, I think we’ll get an INT if they keep throwing deep.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:20 PM CDT reply actions

He looks good wearing Chad Jones this season

I predict a lot of quarterbacks will be wearing that look

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:22 PM CDT reply actions

it's so hot right now

Agh.

Could we get someone to catch punts for Trindon and then hand off to him?

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:23 PM CDT reply actions

I'm surprised we're shuttling running backs

instead of giving them a heavy dose of Charles Scott early.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:27 PM CDT reply actions

Oh, that's why

Mike Patrick just traded Charles Scott to Auburn, LOL.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:29 PM CDT up reply actions

Hah

And GOD he’s such a hard runner. I love it.

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 7:29 PM CDT up reply actions

run!

Less “tricky” plays in which our guys get confused, and more of Scott!

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 7:31 PM CDT reply actions

It does seem kind of weird

I don’t know if it qualifies as tricky though, unless one has mad running or passing skills and the other doesn’t.

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 7:36 PM CDT up reply actions

d-line

I don’t want to jinx anything, but our run defense has been great so far.

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 7:35 PM CDT reply actions

Our D don’t like blue shirts ’less they"re catching passes…still playing too soft

by lawildbull on Sep 20, 2008 7:36 PM CDT reply actions

Scott

Anyone else getting visions of Cecil Collins? Holy crap. Charles Scott is for real.

by Poseur on Sep 20, 2008 7:47 PM CDT reply actions

cecil?

Does Scott have a rap sheet?

The 50 yd FG try was a bad idea.

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 7:50 PM CDT reply actions

...What Todd said

Running on first and then giving up won’t work

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 7:54 PM CDT reply actions

Well, I expected one of those today

Question is whether there’ll be any more.

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 8:04 PM CDT reply actions

Bring In Jarrett Lee….whoever is wearing #12 is obviously an imposter, not a major university QB

by lawildbull on Sep 20, 2008 8:04 PM CDT reply actions

wow

what a horrible turnover.

by Jon Johnston on Sep 20, 2008 8:05 PM CDT reply actions

2nd half

auburn gets the ball to start the second half, so we must stop them on that drive or else we’re in deep $h!t.

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 8:11 PM CDT reply actions

Jefferson comes in...

Jefferson will come in and, depending on his play, Lee may end up as third string. Gotta fomd a qb for the long run…

by lawildbull on Sep 20, 2008 8:33 PM CDT reply actions

Anybody notice that Mississippi State

gave up 38 to Georgia Tech today? That’s after holding Auburn to 3 last week. Is Georgia Tech that good or . . . never mind, game’s back on.

by Brandon Friedman on Sep 20, 2008 8:34 PM CDT reply actions

I Just Have No Idea How You Can

be a top five football program and not have a freaking QB that can throw the down down field.

by tommyguniii on Sep 20, 2008 8:37 PM CDT reply actions

Well, we had one

but now he’s at Jacksonville State

by The Bengal on Sep 20, 2008 8:40 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeesh

Now the D is crumbling too. One bad decision just opens the floodgates eh.

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 8:37 PM CDT reply actions

2nd half defense

It looks like someone replaced our defense with Tennessee’s defense on this first drive.

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 8:37 PM CDT reply actions

WOW

What a solid turn of events. Great D, horrible punt

One sustained drive here and Mr. Lee’s bad play will be mentally behind us

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 8:43 PM CDT reply actions

I think they woke up after the penalty. After that boneheaded play, they looked great.

by uberschuck on Sep 20, 2008 8:44 PM CDT up reply actions

True

What’s super impressive is that typically those boneheaded mistakes – at any level – just snowball into a big play for the opposition.

by GeauxTigers on Sep 20, 2008 8:46 PM CDT up reply actions

A Seven Yard Punt

how is that even possible? I mean pull somebody out of the stands and they can do that.

by tommyguniii on Sep 20, 2008 8:47 PM CDT up reply actions

Mr. MO

That should help Mr. MO put back on his purple and gold.

Since the only time I’ve ever seen LSU and Nebraska play, you beat us 21-20 in the 1982 Orange Bowl, I think we owe you one. But if we do meet up, it means both of us had great seasons.
