There is a nice slate of games on today, plus there's Mississippi State vs. Florida. I'm up way too early for this, but it will give us a chance to run some errands this morning before going to Story Time at Barnes & Noble. Then it's football, football, and more football until the late hours.
I'm looking forward to seeing Arkansas against Ole Miss. That game will go a long way towards determining bowl positioning for most of the teams in the West. Alabama vs. Tennessee could be an interesting game if Tennessee catches them on an off day. Then there's the headliner game of the day (for us). LSU takes on Auburn in a game that never fails to be interesting. Consider this your open thread for the early action.

Stupid stupid stupid
What on earth made Kiffin think his kicker could hit a 44 yarder? Why did he play for a 44 yard FG when he had 44 seconds left in the game? HORRIBLE game management. Just God awful

Criminal.. completely criminal mismanagement by Lane Kiffin..
How can you shut down your offense with a minute to play and set a 45-fucking-yard field goal when your kicker had missed two from that distance this game.
This is my Exhibit B in my argument that Les Miles’ decision to go for the end zone against Auburn in 2007 was a good idea. YOU CANNOT TRUST COLLEGE KICKERS. YOU CANNOT. YOU CANNOT YOU CANNOT YOU CANNOT EVER TRUST A COLLEGE KICKER.
You kick a field goal when you HAVE TO. You don’t ever play for a field goal. This is not the NFL. Kickers at this level are not very good and 45 yarders are missed more often than they’re made.

I'm with you, if it's at a distance go for it..
There are usually only 4 or 5 kickers in the country that can be counted on to hit those types of kicks, and only half of them play in the FBS/D1.
At the end of the day
What confuses me though is..
Bama lined 3 guys up over the center/snapper, did they do away with the rule of laying off on the snapper? Because they blew him up.
At the end of the day
