Ole Miss DE Greg Hardy has a broken wrist, out for season - ESPN
Greg Hardy, when healthy, is one of the 5 best defensive players in the SEC (along with Brandon Spikes, Eric Berry, Rolando McClain, and Patrick Peterson, with apologies to Eric Norwood and Rennie Curran). He has had precious little time healthy in the last couple years. No one likes to revel in the misfortune of these young men who play the game, but this is the next decent team we face, and this is one of the players we would ordinarily have to game plan around. Now he is out. I hope for his sake he can figure out how to stay healthy, because he will make a lot of money at the next level if he can.

I would have to bump Hardy out of the top five in favor of Norwood
and that’s not intended as a slight of Hardy. Norwood is scary good.

So was Hardy when healthy and motivated
Reality is he was rarely both of those things at the same time.

Top 5 talent..
just not a top 5 work ethic. Good luck to him going forward. It seems like there is a whole lot of high end players not being able to finish the year due to injury or suspension.
At the end of the day
