The LSU assistant football coach linked to an investigation involving possible recruiting violations resigned his position, according to a statement released late Wednesday night by LSU. D.J. McCarthy was immediately relieved of his duties and has turned in his keys.
Well, this at least confirms that it was indeed McCarthy and the the violation was severe enough to can him. Word on the street is that we have already made moves to hire Buffalo Bills WR coach and former LSU WR Tyke Tolbert.

I'm pleased
My original comment on the recruiting violations surfacing was “Fire him”. We did. Tolbert is on board already!
Fake Pundit. Real Fan.

Ditto
Like the fact that Miles doesn’t hesitate to make required changes to protect the integrity of the LSU program. May not always agree with what he does as a coach, but fully appreciate his stance when issues arise that could damage the program.
