I'm prepared to say that the Chavis-to-UGA situation is now more than a rumor. However, it seems Alleva has stepped in and offered The Chief a big enough raise to stay put. We will be able to confirm this when Alleva brings the new contract before the Board of Sups. late next week.

AS FIRST REPORTED ON ATVS, officials from both teams and The Citrus Bowl itself are now concerned about the field conditions for tomorrow, but as I feared nothing can be done in time to fix it. Curse Orlando if a player gets hurt like Cooper did for Miami.
The Lady Tigers finished 2009 with a win for LSU, 56-47 over Xavier and Coach Chancellors 500th win.
