Former LSU Tigers receiver Demetrius Byrd hospitalized after automobile accident - ESPN
This happened late yesterday. Early reports are that he's not in too bad of shape and he should make a full recovery. That could mean a lot of different things. Byrd's come under some criticism from LSU fans for his public grumbling during the 2008 season, but I think we all root for him to do well in the future.

I’ll always appreciate Byrd for a certain last-second end zone catch in 2007.
