2009 Signee Barkevious Mingo is the second LSU recruit to win a prestigious honor, after Morris Claiborne was track athlete of the meet at a recent track function. Mingo has won the prestigious Name of the Year award, which is an award not limited to athletic circles. His victory over Iris Macadangdang in the tournament-style final sealed his ultimate victory.
