LSU @ Mississippi State: Mid-game Report
With LSU ahead 7-1 in the bottom of the 3rd inning, and with storms looming behind what was already about a 2-hour rain delay, LSU finds itself in the strange situation that it does not really benefit them to score more runs. Right now, we need the game to become "official", which means we need to get the game through the 5th inning before the storms end it. This means that further runs scored by us just makes the game go longer and makes it more likely that the game will be cancelled by weather.
