LSU is #3 Overall Seed
We have more wins than anyone, but I guess our season-long struggles when neither Coleman nor Ranaudo were on the mound has trumped our late-season heroics.
We will face off against Southern, and then play the winner of Baylor and Minnesota. More on the matchups later.

Fair
I though Fullerton deserved the #1 seed overall. Texas has a case as well. In the end, it’s not that big of a deal. It’s about having a seed at all. #3 is completely fair.
Quick note:
Minnesota and Baylor both rely extensively on right-handed pitching. It’s hard to find good information on Southern, but it appears that the NCAA did us a real favor putting the Bears and the Golden Gophers into the regional with us.
That’s just on first blush.

Richard, although the Southern baseball website is only updated through April 1st (!), the SWAC website has what I believe are up to date stats.

They appear to have played Grambling 8 times (!)
