Looks like Coach Miles is headed to Omaha (per the Twitter thing)...
I’d love to see him fired up on camera tonight.

Gonna go to bar tonight for the game
But I’ll be sure to check back over the game thread. It was a blast last night. eauxver and out
Will you stop it with the vegetables
Much Easier
Much easier watching ESPN during this rain delay. Knowing the final score really makes it easier.
Rain is to delay until Les and the rest of the AD staff can arrive. Les feels he needs to be there for Chad and Leon.
I would love to hear Erin interview Les. We might end up with a “damn strong baseball team”.
Leon?
Why would Les need to be there for Leon?
I did...brain cramp!!!
I’ve been in purple and gold all day. I’m ready to see the Tigers break some “horns”.
Richard, fully support you comments on burnt orange blog. Small ball or gorilla ball?, the Tigers can play it. Close or a blowout? I think the team answered that question last night.
It turns out, my comments on BON did not hold up at all yesterday..
I thought Belt would be dangerous. He did nothing. I thought we were vulnerable defensively. We made no errors. I thought we might give up outs on the bases. Nope. I thought bunting would be a half-decent strategy against us, but they never tried it and hit 5 home runs. Now if we win with Ross on the mound I will be proven to be the worst prognosticator on earth.
This is why I don’t like to make predictions.

It's the right call..
If we need Ranaudo, let him pitch when he’s rested. It’s an economically efficient use of resources.

btw..
using Landry to pinch run for Ochinko when we needed a pinch hitter for Nola two batters later was NOT an economically efficient use of resources.

OK guys, we need an attire check...
Complete with rationale of why your shirt will make us win tonight.
I’m going with my proven white 2008 nike coaches polo. Have worn it the entire CWS, no reason to stop now. It’s undefeated in Baseball and it doesn’t know how to lose!
It will work because I wore it yesterday.

Landry
Just out of curiosity, does Leon Landry have any relation to LaRon?
PERSONAL
Full name is Leon Renard Landry Jr. … parents are Leon Sr. and Jacqueline Landry … has three sisters, Litonia, Ashley and Sasha … credits his father with having the greatest influence upon his athletic career … plans to major in business at LSU … born September 20, 1989.

I read a comment on a Texas message board today
That said [Ross] would be struggling for innings during mid week games if he was on their team.
I agree
probably
his problem is inconsistency. Sometimes he’s been outstanding. most of the time he’s been only OK, and sometimes he’s really struggled.

Erin Andrews: "Les, how about those Tigers?"
The Hat: "Well Erin, WAAAAHOOOOO, just had to get that out of the way. The strategery shown tonight by Paul was supremely, uh, impressing. You know in the game of football we teach the instilling of the same types of winning characteristics which the team here in Omaha has displayed for our proud university today."
Erin Andrews: "What would you have told the players before the game?"
The Hat: "Well I would have told the players about the great opportunity that we have to represent our school, and to display our sportsmanship on our sleeve. And I would have told them not to worry about Tejas because it seems like they’ve been losing to a lot of teams from LA lately. (displaying a $hit eating grin)"
Erin Andrews: "So can you compare your national championship in football which you accomplished in only 3 years to Paul’s now in baseball which he also took just 3 years to accomplish"
The Hat: "Well certainly there is a similarity there, in ah, the time frames that the championships occurred. That is a tremendous accomplishment and we are proud of the opportunity to accomplish that feat. Sorry Erin I have to excuse myself." "Hey Pauly! Let’s go hit Bourbon St. with that trophy!!!!! WAAAHOOOOOO"
So where did Texas's runs come from.

Question...
Let’s say Lee doesn’t throw all those pics in the Bama game last year and we win out, finish 10-2 but don’t win the West as Bama is 11-1. Our D finishes with basically the same stats. We go to the Cotton Bowl and eek out a win over Texas Tech 35-32 to finish 11-2.
Do our DC’s get fired?

Yeah, but we have not seemed to have our heads in the game tonight.
Our heads appear to be shoved up somewhere else. I guess we came in thinking Texas would lie down. Bad guess. With anyone.
It started with a big differential in pitching..
now it seems like we’re discouraged.
stranding a leadoff triple.. getting an out for leaving a base early on a fly ball.. just a bad night. but it’s not over.

If it’s a balk in the 4th; it’s a balk in the 9th

Guess we're in trouble...Checking my attire for tomorrow
White New Oak polo with LSU logo on left breast. When outside, or driving, purple LSU cap like the cap team is wearing tonight.
I think I'm going to retire the white polo for the year...
Time to bring in the big guns.
THE 2007 PURPLE COACHES POLO!!!
It, like Jared Mitchel, already has a ring…
Gotta give credit where due. Jungmann was lights-out.
Do they have another like him?

Doesn't matter
What matters is whether he’s better than Ranaudo

We're just trying to create some drama.
CWS was meant to be winner take all

The men in orange just handed it to us.
Thank God we won’t see Jungmann again. Maybe Augie knew last night?
Ain't woid....
the Mangenius is saving the best for last. Renaudo sews it up for us tomorrow night. I was actually hoping for some drama. A two win series would have been boring.
There is nobody so irritating as someone who is less intelligent than us and yet is wiser.
