He spent some time back in Brenham, Texas, with his family and thought about the options of moving on or staying put and fighting for the chance to get his job back.

"When you have a season like I did last fall as a young kid, it goes through your mind," Lee said of transferring. "But in the back of my mind, this is where I wanted to be. This is where I’ve always wanted to be.

"There’s still a lot to look forward in my future here and things can change in a minute just like they did last year. You never know what’s going to happen and you’ve got to keep working hard every day and be prepared for whenever your time is called."
