"When our quarterbacks throw the ball to the taller guys like JoJo and Terrance, they hit them in the chest," Tolliver said. "With us being smaller, the ball comes right to our heads and we can focus on the ball. We don’t have to worry about a ball coming at us low."
2theadvocate.com |WR Tolliver battling for playing time — Baton Rouge, LA. Relatively diminutive redshirt freshman wide receiver ChrisTolliver explains why the shorter receivers on the team may be able to offer a little more to the offense.
This article is pretty much the first we've heard from Chris Tolliver since camp started, and he says he expects to play a fair bit this year. I'm not so sure. With him right now sitting behind Lafell, T. Toliver, super-recruit Rueben Randle, and two senior smaller receivers, there just isn't enough snaps for wide receivers out there to be distributing a lot more around to Tolliver, J. Taylor, and others.
I expect Tolliver to be more in the mix next year, after Lafell, Mitchell, and Jackson use up their eligibility.

Haha the downside to that would be
if the quarterback threw it a little bit too high, then you get hung out to dry. I think I would rather be tall and have it coming to my chest.
