As you see only two teams in the top five have played a schedule that had an overall winning percentage. Not surprising those two teams also play the strongest schedules in the top 5. LSU's SoS according to Rivals is 4th in the nation yet LSU gets talked about for not winning big in their games and/or having close games with their opponents. Well maybe that is because they play the 4th hardest schedule in Div I ? The other three teams play schedules with overall W-L of under 50% and the number one team has the 90th SoS and an opponents win % of 41.748 .
Personally i would trade schedules with any of those three teams (Oregon , TCU , Boise State) straight up and be happy to be undefeated if the media would fawn over us if we played those schedules. Unfortunately i feel they would point to LSU's weak schedule , would call Les lucky for not playing a harder schedule , and would put Wisconson , Ohio St , Mich St , Stanford , Ok St , Nebraska , Utah , and even a few two loss teams like Alabama and Iowa ahead of an unbeaten LSU if we played those schedules. Why would they do that? Because they do not like LSU and Les Miles so even if we could spell the end of the BCS in their eyes like TCU and Boise State or we were a west coast Pac 10 team like Oregon they still would hate us.
