Coaching shakeup- Yanowsky headed to Memphis
Just hours after helping with the finishing touches on a great recruiting class, Yanowsky is off to Memphis where he will hold the position of Special Teams coordinator, a title that was recently given to Frank Wilson.
Good luck in Memphis, Coach Yano.
Now who are we going to hire? QB coach?

I have no sources or anything
But this just seems classy. Whether it was Portor, Yanowsky, or both, to let everyone finish out recruiting is great.
I'm sure it was a combo of Les, Porter and Yano
Les is the absolute smoothest in the business when it comes to coaching changes. Porter has learned from the best. It’s better to not burn any bridges in this business.
Maybe there is room for Tyke now?
Tyke took a job
With the Carolina Panthers. Don’t think he’s ever coming back to the college game unless its as a coordinator.
Some talk on the Rant about Kragthorpe. He’s a heck of a QB coach. But some would rather it be another recruiter.
Tyke...
… I think he’s 3 years or so from getting an NFL pension. Probably won’t come back until then. Once he’s vested, it makes more sense to maybe come back to college.
Fake Pundit. Real Fan.

It may not be one
They did just give Billy Gonzales the passing game coordinator title — which means he’s probably working with quarterbacks too.
Good chance its a young (or older, as in Yano’s case) recruiter-type with ties to a territory they want to make some inroads into, like Texas of Florida.
