Spring Ball coming along nicely, yesterday spent outside in full pads. Bradie James, in town for the GYM cancer Fundraiser tonight (and threw out the 1st pitch last night) stopped by along with a few other former players. Team has today off, with a squad scrimmage tomorrow. Kleinpeter has a nice piece on Jai Eugene's move to FS.

After last night's 8-1 win over the Peppers, Baseball faces significantly less challenging opposition tonight against Brown at 7pm. ADMISSION IS FREE FOR BASEBALL TODAY!* Mainieri has done a good job with the non-conf scheduling for the last few years and is already working on the 2014 docket.

Here is today's good basketball news: A profile on LA Player of the Year and LSU Signee Matt Derenbecker, who spent 3 weeks in the gym before class to improve his shooting after a "bad" game against Rummel in which he scored 28 points.
