Sweet Russell Shepard video. Easily the thing I'm most excited about regarding LSU football 2010.

You need a video for that?
God I can’t wait to see him getting the ball.

I just hope it all comes together for him.
He truly does seem to have the talent, work ethic and desire to be great. Like he says in the video, he is patient, so I believe the “Shep” era begins this year.
RUSS-ELL SHEP-ARD! (clap clap clapclapclap)

More than a man, less than a god.
The connoisseur of swagger. More than hype, he’s fact. The Gifted One. The Chosen one.

To copy someone on the Rant ...
“I’m afraid he won’t get the ball enough”
Depends on what
You think of as “enough.” If he matches Percy Harvin, it’ll be about 11 touches a game.

11/game
would probably be about right … that’d probably equate to ~20% of offensive plays.
I just don’t want him to completely not play in some games like he did a few times in 2009.
Definitely
Biggest thing is they’re going to have to incorporate him into the running game. Harvin got those 11 touches as Florida’s go-to receiver, and Shepard’s not going to be that with Toliver and Randle.

Last year...
… I worried about him getting touches because I thought he was so skinny that someone was going to literally kil him. After a year in the weight room, I don’t plan on worry about his body getting snapped like a twig. I completely agreed with his limited touches last season (I would have preferred a redshirt), but now it’s time to let him loose.
Fake Pundit. Real Fan.
And The Valley Shook!
the suplex
he took on his first snap against vanderbilt is still one of my favorite plays to watch that he luckily lived through. I found it in a reel of his snaps last year and replayed it 5 times
