Good News, Everyone! Hebert Reinstated
Via: The Advocate
Miles said center T-Bob Hebert, who was suspended from the team following a DUI charge in May, has met the proper requirements for reinstatement.
A returning starter, Hebert missed most of spring practice with a broken leg.
Miles expects the junior to be ready well before Sept. 4, when the Tigers face North Carolina in the season opener.
“T-Bob is healthy and getting better,” Miles said. “He’s not back to 100 percent at this point, but he can see 100 percent in the near future.”
Glad things are working out for T-Bob.

Indeed Good News
Having faced the legal system with a DUI charge, I’m sure T-Bob has paid his dues (and will continue to pay them for a long time in large increases in his insurance payments, embarrassment among his team mates, friends, and relatives, etc.) and his debt to society. Further, I’m sure he has learned the dangers inherent in his behavior and the very significant consequences he will suffer should it ever happen again. That said, I’ve heard nothing but good things about T-Bob, and I certainly believe he deserves a second chance. Thankfully, Coach Miles has given him that chance. T-Bob, the ball is in your court. Run with it and lets see that LSU O-Line open up some gaping holds so that our running backs gain significant yardage every time they touch the ball.
