Interview with the Corch

ATVS Sideline Reporter: Corch, you said at halftime that LSU had interceptions because MSU was throwing it, can you clarify what you meant by that?

Corch Les Miles: Uh, yea.  What I mean is that no.7 and really our whole secondary have a very real desire to take your head off and possess the ball.  I get criticized a lot, and let’s face it people claim I’m just not that smart.  Well, even I know it’s not a good ideal to throw the ball toward our cover corners, especially no. 7, did I mention no. 7?

ATVSSR: Corch, Jordan Jefferson took a lot of heat this week, why did you decide to stick with him for this game?

Corch: Well, we have two players taking snaps that we are comfortable with in any situation.  We just feel that any situation we are comfortable with is more suited toward Jordan because those situation don’t involve our opponents scoring on our offensive possessions, generally.  Other than that we really enjoy both players.

ATVSSR: A lot of people are saying that your team has won ugly or just gotten by so far this year corch, what is it going to take for your team to get style points.

Corch: Well the team has an equipment manager that coordinates the attire for any given game other than that we don’t really put a lot of thought into style or looks.  When we look up at the score board when the clock reaches 0:00, sometimes I look sooner but sometimes I forget, we want to have more points than the other guys.  We’ve done that three times so far and our goal is to do it every time.  Did I mention no. 7?

One other point, we plan to run the ball until someone (other than my RB's dropping the football-you're killing me petey!) stops us.  Good luck with that!

ATVSSR: Corch, are you on the hot seat?

Corch: Certainly when you play in this league your goal is to not finish the contest in second place.  We haven’t done that this year and about 80% of the time we finish first.  If some inbred morons want to fire me then how am I the idiot?

Have a great day!
