AP Source: UNC's Little won't travel for LSU game -SI.com
"Little, a senior, was one of six players to decide in January that he would return to Chapel Hill instead of entering the NFL draft. He is North Carolina's top receiver, dealing a significant blow to an offense that was already considered a question mark compared to a defense loaded with NFL prospects."
And there goes Yates' main target. Seriously, we'll need to blow'em out just to stay respectable now

Seriously, we’ll need to blow’em out just to stay respectable now
It’s crap like this why Miles can’t catch a break. I feel bad for the dude really. LSU has played in more “asterisk games” in the last 5 years than any other program in the country. Can you imagine what people would have said had we beat Florida last year. “Yeah but Tebow had a concussion”.
I’m not ranting on you Pod, just saying that this is a lose-lose for us from a media perspective.
I totally agree
The way UNC is being down played now (you could tell ESPN’s already in damage control, judging by the booth chatter last night) it would have been better if we’d kept the date with Tulane. Saturday has been turned into a zero sum game.
Thankfully for us, most of the BCS computers will just see “#18 UNC” and a big score, not a roster sheet.

Win the game
All that matters. People can say what they want (and trust me, some of the Humanoids who really don’t like Miles are going to discount the result no matter how positive). Important to remember this is an opener too and there’s always hiccups in the opener. Hell, as good as South Carolina looked in the second half last night, through the first quarter they were very unimpressive and even a weakened North Carolina is still better than USM.
disagree
I don’t think most people will remember the roster situation come mid season. LSU fans and UNC fans certainly will, but if we look good in a win, then I don’t think anyone can take that away from us.
This game will be judged through the prism of how the rest of our season plays out. If we crush them and then play well the rest of the season….then I expect us to get the benefit of the doubt.
