Now that the first weekend of the season is over, time to move fast on the Pick'em Picks as we only have TWO DAYS TILL MORE FOOTBALL! There are some huge log jams in the middle, but I'm pretty proud that most of you are over .500. Here's the top 5* for the weekend

Like I said, not bad overall. Looks like I've got the early lead in the ATVS writers picks, with C-Dub leading the Geaux Show hosts. Some of the more prevalent commenters are surprisingly down in the cellar, while gif master WatsonTiger had a great weekend. Here's a breakdown of how you all picked.

I'd have thought an LSU crowd would know better than to rely on the Greenies, but it looks like some folks need to learn that lesson. We all got burned on the Gators, I clearly need to give more respect to Moo U, and the Wannstache, even with the loss, was still a good bet. Make note here that for all the bluster about Cam Newton, Auburn still didn't cover. Sign of things to come?

I'm gonna keep with the SEC v 1-A, Louisiana, National format as I like it and with limited time I couldn't realy take any suggestions. There will be a discussion thread on Sunday nights from here on out to work on this problem.

I don't buy Auburn's D as legit, and maybe I'm a little too impressed with a win over Memphis. Still not going to take any chances on SCar, though a win over UGA changes everything. Rich Rod kills the echos before fading down the stretch. Ole Miss can beat Tulane, right? Bama's still better than Penn St., and maybe UF will have someone else snap the ball this week.
