Oh, and to the LSU fans that were mad at Les for taking a knee with five minutes to go, you see what happens when you don’t?

Regarding OM
I think we took those knees b/c Miles was upset at Zach M for calling his own number on the bootleg keeper. Looked to me like he clearly scored and the refs were getting ready to review it but decided not to after a conversation with Miles. The 4 straight kneel downs were Miles telling Mett “you will do as I say”.
were we sitting next to each other at Ole Miss?
group of about 5-6 LSU guys standing about 20 rows up on the OM side (basically the only people on that side of the stadium) that I drifted over to stand with (b/c I had been abandoned due to my strict “no leaving early” policy) had this exact conversation.

i think petrino is a punk. friends of mine said they saw him sitting on the team bus sulking way before they were scheduled to leave.
When inside the State 20 last week, with 3 minutes to go and a 24-point lead
Did Petrino kneel? Did he show mercy? Hell no. He punched in another touchdown. LSU had a 21-point lead with 5 minutes left and tried to extend it, and he gets mad now?
Nothing worse than a bully that likes to dish it out but can’t take.

Let's face it about Petrino
In reality that reaction had little to do with kicking the field goal & more to do with actually having to face up to the fact that his team just got their asses handed to them.

I'm happy Les kept his foot on the gas,
but I’m willing to cut Petrino a little slack. It was a frustrating day after an emotional week for them. Still, he has to remember that he is in the public eye. He’s never seemed like Mr. Congeniality to me, but it was poorly handled.
Better to die happy than to live miserably.
