The only thing LSU got on top of the self imposed sanctions was 1 year probation, starting today.

The NCAA just announced LSU is guilty of a major violation and, in response, gave us two scholarships back. I love America.

In a related story:
Les Miles to conduct a new series of NCAA compliance seminars. A live demonstration of an NCAA flogging to include Miles’ donkey lashing Jim Tressell. (Organizers may opt to just use canned footage on the 2007 BCNCG to keep cost down.)

Haha. I'm pretty sure we'll survive.
But I hear if you fix that Richtitis yall have then your running back issues should take care of itself.

please excuse my ignorance
but what are the ramifications of the one year probation, does it affect bowl or championship games?
It's like correctional system probation
It’s nothing in the way of bowl or post season penalties, we just have to submit periodic reports on our compliance efforts and submit to any other inquires the NCAA might have with utmost co-operation.
Seeing as our Compliance staff is already doing this, It’s barely even a penalty.
