Just my observations

My first post so forgive me if I screw this up. Quoting from some online posts I've read and trying to give due credit to the sources: "Rivals.Com West Virginia Team Report INSIDE SLANT Lacking a strong running game, just 236 in the first three games, he has leaned on QB Geno Smith and a deep, talented receiving corps to put points on the board. The WVU defense had Maryland shut down completely in the first half of the last game, only to fall apart in the second half and wound up giving up a season-high 477 total yards. It will definitely be looking to make amends in this game. WVU is going to have to find a way with an undersized defensive line to deal with the power game that includes a fullback and two tight ends at times." I don't think West Virginia can hold up against LSU. LSU has too much offense for a team that gave up 477 yards to Maryland and too much defense for a team that lacks a strong running game. LSU's offense is underrated, especilly with the addition of Russell Shepard, and LSU's defense can eat up a team that can't run the ball. Best wishes to both teams. I hope no players get hurt and that both teams fans take it like true sportmens regarless of the outcome. Texar Tiger Fan
