I don't know why, but when looking through the Geaux Zone this morning I came across the above video. It's a full replay of LSU-UNLV from 1990. I'm not sure why it's here (celebrating it's 22nd anniversary?) but it was one helluva game.
The final was107-105 LSU. In a game of the early Shaq era, it was Chris Jackson who shined with 35 points.

My favorite season of any LSU sport ever, excluding maybe the ‘07 football season. The games were so fun to watch. That Loyola game a few weeks after this was the greatest sporting event I’ve ever attended, and I’ll be lucky if I ever witness anything else that even comes close.

celebrating it’s 22nd anniversary?
Nice.
Oh and to the dude above. Nice name.
Alabama fans, ask yourself this question: Is this who you want representing your University and your fanbase?

I love the Diesel
But Chris Jackson was so much fun to watch – that era of LSU basketball will likely never be topped.
I’ll never forget watching Gerald Glass and CJ go back and forth on like a Tuesday or Wednesday night. They each had over 50 points. Great fun and I think it was the last time I really paid attention to college basketball.
Seeing Harold Boudreaux and Wayne Sims out there was fun too – reminded me of the great role players LSU used to have – Vernel Singleton and others.
