Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College made a big pickup, signing Lafayette County quarterback Jeremy Liggins to a scholarship.
The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Liggins had originally committed to LSU.
"It's huge,'' MGCCC football coach Steve Campbell said during his annual summer football camp Sunday. "We're excited. He will enroll in second-term summer school.''

You may remember Liggins as the rather large QB commit LSU got out of Oxford, MS, who had the gall to make his announcement in the Square in Oxford back on Jan 30th.
Liggins enters the MS JUCO system after a few days of rumors that he couldn't qualify academically and has swelled to nearly 300 lbs.
