Kennard Swanson Commits!
Kennard Swanson is in as an #LSU commitment for 2013. He will project as a fullback. Will also be at camp in July to work out for staff.

Short, squatty build, think J.C. Copeland all over again. Swanson plays DL in HS, but he is coming to LSU as a FB. Explosive off the line. Handing out a scholarship to a guy who is a future FB only says a lot about what Les sees as the future of the offense. Swanson looks like a nice player. I'm not enamored with offering a FB this early. However, it is and will be an important part of making our running game go, so I understand why Les did it.
