Lewis Neal, the No. 22 rated defensive end recruit and three-star prospect according to Rivals, faxed his national letter of intent to LSU.

Neal, of Hunt High School in Wilson, South Carolina, committed to LSU in July over offers from Ohio State, Clemson, South Carolina and Tennessee.

He may be slightly undersized for a defensive end, but Neal was fantastically productive with 121 tackles and 12 sacks as a senior. He also earned Defensive Player of the Year honors at the Offense-Defense Shrine Bowl last month.
