Greg Gilmore, the No. 246 national recruit and four-star prospect according to Rivals, faxed his national letter of intent to LSU.
Gilmore, of South View High School in Hope Mills, South Carolina, is the 16th-rated defensive tackle by Rivals and chose the Tigers over offers from Alabama, Florida and Auburn. He committed in November of 2012, and was an Under Armour All-American.
He played defensive end for Hope Mills, but at 6-4 and 275 pounds, projects to move inside and play tackle.
