One of LSU's earliest 2014 commitments signed his national letter of intent: offensive lineman Will Clapp of Brother Martin High School (GO SADERS) in New Orleans. He's listed at 6-4 and 275 pounds and projects as a guard or tackle.
Clapp is an LSU legacy -- the son of former defensive tackle Tommy Clapp -- and a four-star recruit. He ranked 239 in the 247 Sports Composite rankings, was the No. 15 offensive guard as well as the 15th-ranked recruit in the state of Louisiana.
His other major suitors included Alabama and Ole Miss. He committed to the Tigers last January at the Boys From the Boot junior day event.
