Yesterday, Odell Beckham Jr. came flying off the board in the top 15. Today, rounds 2-4 continue and names like Jarvis Landry, Zach Mettenberger, Jeremy Hill and Trai Turner could all be called. There's even an outside shot we hear Craig Loston and Lamin Barrow.
Should be an eventful evening for LSU fans anxious to see where their favorites go.
I'm most interested in what happens with Landry. He's widely projected as a Round 2-3 pick, but his path to the draft has hit a few snags. Will that affect what NFL teams think? Could he fall outside of Day 2?
Mettenberger is still looming and with only 2 QBs selected in the 1st round, there's plenty of great landing spots, including Houston with the 1st pick. I doubt he goes that high, but Mettenberger does fit the prototypical big, tall pocket passer than Bill O'Brien seems to prefer.
Hill is a guy that oozes talent but character concerns could drive him down... even into Day 3. My guess is his name is called tonight, though, perhaps even the 1st RB.
Turner's a guy we all scratched our heads about when he declared, but he's become a hot prospect and could sneak into the 2nd round.
The rest, well, they are all on the fringe. But it only takes one team to love you.
