Baseball - Schedule - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics - The schedule for the 2016 baseball season is out. LSU opens up with a three game set against Cincinnati at Alex Box. The first SEC series is at home against Alabama. ULL is the opponent in the Wally Pontiff Classic on Tuesday, Mar 22. There's a two game midweek set against Notre Dame in May, where Paul Mainieri was employed as head coach before coming to LSU. The final series of the regular season is against Florida at Alex Box from Thursday, May 19 to to Saturday, May 21.

SEC Teams to Honor Slive with Awareness Games - LSUsports.net - The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics - The SEC is raising awareness for prostate cancer in honor of our former Lord Emperor Mike Slive. Wakulla Gets What it Wants out of ESPN appearance -- if you missed it, LSU QB commit Felipe Franks was on ESPNU on Saturday, as his team fell in an early season special matchup with Spartanburg, S.C. Franks completed 8-19 for 101 yards and a touchdown about a half. Spartanburg rolled in in the second half after a couple special teams scores flipped momentum, winning 42-13.
