Yeah, we don't understand why either. The Capital One Bowl asks Poseur five questions on the upcoming LSU season, which he answers without once mentioning Delusional Optimism. My bad.
SB Nation polled all of the blogs on the network this month to put together a Preseason All-American list and will be revealing the results over the next few days, starting today with the Linemen. Billy was our voting member this year and was asked to say a few kind words about "Sonic" Sam Montgomery.
Kevin Van Valkenburg in ESPN Magazine on Tyrann Mathieu. The article starts out like a hit piece, but morphs into a decent story about a kid who throws his heart and everything else into the game.
The Memphis Commercial-Appeal's Geof Calkins rightfully takes down the New York Times over their hit-piece on Lolo from the weekend.
According to the WhatIfSports.com simulation, LSU could have fared well had a playoff existed in 2006.
Breaking news: Florida CB Rashard Robinson has committed to #LSU. That's 22 commitments for the 2013 class.

This isn't much of a surprise to those who have followed closely. Robinson earned an offer in April, camped here a couple weeks ago and was back on campus for an unofficial visit today and couldn't resist pulling the trigger. He's listed at 6'2", 163, so a tall, lean corner. He's got elite make-up speed and a fly haircut. Fits the mold of the type of outside CB we typically covet. Really like his ability to turn and run. Not afraid to tackle, but not a hitter either. He's a true cover guy. Super long armed. Reminds me, physically, of Tharold Simon. Goes to the same high school as Patrick Peterson and younger brother Avery Johnson attended. Really nice pickup. That brings the class to 22. Only 3 spots left to fill and there are some big names left on the board. The Robinson commitment does make you wonder where we stand with Priest Willis, who is amongst the best CB prospects in this year's class.
Breaking: #LSU has gotten a verbal commitment from 2014 ATH Devin Voorheis (Woodville, Miss.).

Not breaking news, but I was out and about all weekend, so this is the first chance I've had to get to it. Interesting pick-up, as he is from Mississippi. 247 ranks him 68th overall for the class of 2014. Big kid, at 6'2", 185 pounds. By comparison, that's about what Debo Jones of this year, or Tahj Jones of a couple years ago were at coming out. He's a jack-of-all-trades type in HS, playing QB/WR/RB/S/Returner/Best player on the field, and I like that. I'm a big fan of safety prospects who play QB. Could even wind up on offense at LSU. Check his highlights. He's downright explosive. Quick-twitch athlete. Tremendous top end speed. Great leaper. Great hands. I wish had something negative to say because I pretty much made him sound like the greatest football player alive, but his tape is pretty much him running circles around the other children. He can't really throw. So there! No clue on relation to Saved By the Bell's Lark Voorhies.
