That is exposure that LSU could never have afforded to buy – especially in this era of budget cuts and diminished state support for public higher education.

Airline High School TE John Thomas just gave his pledge to Les Miles. Thomas is a big, athletic TE who visited over the course of last weekend. Looks to be a case of a player heading home, talking it over with the folks and pulling the trigger after a great visit. I don't know a ton about him at the moment, but he's a big (6'6, 240) prospect that looks like he could even grow into an offensive lineman.
