The Paul Mainieri era has begun for Tiger baseball, and it's off to a good start as the Tigers completed a 3-game sweep of Saint Mary's today to open the season. Five weeks or so till SEC play starts, so no complaints about how we've gotten out of the gates. Next up is Stetson, a team I have absolutely no idea about. Hell, I have no idea about much other than football teams but I try.
Our men's NIT chances remain intact as the guys knocked off Arkansas yesterday, only to jinx the ladies, who lost a heartbreaker to UConn by a point.
Oh, and there's some noise about Les Miles having uttered the F-bomb when discussing new rival Alabama the other day. Hats off to the guy for getting fired up.
