It appears that Notre Dame and Michigan will take a break from their storied rivalry in 2011, leaving both schools an open date they need to fill. It appears that Notre Dame will fill the slot with Oklahoma, but Michigan is looking for a big name team for a home-and-home.
I would love to see LSU take on Michigan, a school it has never faced before. The games would be mammoth on a national scale and great for both schools. Unfortunately, LSU already has Colorado on the slate for 2011 and 2012. Wouldn't it be great if ESPN came in with a bucket of cash to get the teams to rework some contracts.
