LSU remained No. 2 in ESPN.com's Power 16. The Tigers lost a first place vote after dominating the 12th-ranked team in the nation. No, I don't get it either. The change came from Mark Schlabach, who watched the carnage in person. Mel Kiper and Ryan Hockensmith should be voted off the island for ranking Florida first and West Virginia fourth, respectively.
Maybe Les Miles was right. At the moment, Florida (3), Virginia Tech (14), South Carolina (21), Alabama (24) and the SEC Championship Game appears to be a slightly tougher road than Cal (6), Oregon (12), Nebraska (22) and Arizona State (25). Too bad some pundits are dying for the Trojans schedule to be harder so they can have something to write about. UPDATE: 2:50 p.m. CDT - My mistake in leaving off Kentucky (15) from LSU's schedule. That makes five ranked foes on the Tigers' scheduled, not counting the SEC Championship Game, to four for USC.
I don't want to think about it either, but some are already speculating.
Former LSU stud Joseph Addai rocked for the Colts on Sunday with a pair of touchdowns.
