There's no big news to report, but I thought this would be a good time to let you know where we're going.
With the baseball team still going strong, I have decided to suspend the series on 2008 recruits. Baseball is just too exciting right now, and no one wants to focus on football quite yet. We will get back into it once the season is over. Several profiles are written and scheduled for later publication, and those will go live when we're ready to shift focus away from baseball.
I am still on the lookout for some new contributors. The people I have approached haven't expressed much interest, so it's time to be on the lookout for more. In particular, I am looking for someone who is really into the basketball program and can be the blog's go-to basketball guy, and also someone who can be the "man on the scene" at tailgating and gameday. If anyone knows someone who might be able to do those things, and can write, please email me at andthevalleyshook@gmail.com. It's not a big hurry yet, but if we're going to have someone on campus during football season, it's we need to really get working on it.
If you know anyone who doesn't really fit into either of those categories, but who could be a real asset to this blog, please let me know that as well. This blog is still in its infancy, and there is much room for growth here.
