It's finally here, The Road to Omaha begins tonight at 7pm with a 3 game weekend against Centenary. Thankfully, we are no longer in snow temps and it should be a clear weekend for the most part. Team Speed Kills has a short SEC preview, giving us the edge in what may shape out as a down year for the conference as a whole.
Ranaudo, Dean, Gibbs, and Landry have all been named to the Golden Spikes (best armature baseball player) award list. And 1B (95-98) Eddy Furniss is entering the CBB Hal of Fame.
The Ladies are hitting their stride at just the right time, Holding Vandy to it's lowest point total ever. The 55-39 victory saw 4 Tigers in double figures and Graham narrowly edged Hightower as the top scorer with 15 points.
Softball begins a tough homestand in the Tiger Classic tourney against Virginia, Oklahoma State, and #4 Michigan, all big-time programs.
