Nope: Auburn 74- LSU 59

What wave of momentum?  That wave proved to be the second-most-disappointing wave of the day.  LSU played tonight like they have for most of the season: poorly.  Out-rebounding the other Tigers 32-18 couldn't help the Tigers overcome poor shooting, turnovers and foul trouble.

Tasmin fouled out after getting just six points.  On a positive note, he is now the sole owner of third place all-time in scoring.

Dennis Harris had a fine game: 10 points and 8 rebounds.  Outside of Taz, Storm, Bo and Harris, the Tigers scored just six points.  Zach Kinsley and Daron Populist, after performing so well against Arkansas, disappeared.  Neither scored a point.  Of course, we can't rely on walk-ons to score points, but that's the sad reality for this team.

LSU committed 16 turnovers compared to Auburn's 8.  Just about everyone was guilty, including Bo Spencer (4 turnovers) and Aaron Dotson (3 turnovers).

Bo Spencer performed valiantly, getting 23 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  Storm Warren got 14 points and 6 rebounds as well.

Sadly, LSU has now clinched the worst record in the SEC.  LSU plays Ole Miss in Oxford on Thursday, and Georgia in the PMAC (Senior Night) on the 6th of March.
