No word as of yet on if the Justin Fuente interview has taken place (there is a massive Junior Day recruiting event on campus this weekend, so it may wait until after the weekend). The NCAA is holding their annual convention in San Antonio and among other things there was discussion of requiring so-called "classroom risk" basketball students to take 6 hours of summer credits to be eligible for fall ball. President Emmert, in his opening address, hoped that the various loopholes exposed in the Auburn and Ohio State cases this year would be closed by rule changes enacted at the convention.

With the baseball season just over a month away from it's Feb 18th start, the battery staff began practice this weekend, with the rest of the team to join them on Tuesday.
