It's one week to Gameday, which means it's once again time to start up The 5th/6th Annual And The Valley Shook/Geaux Show Pick'em Challege. Each week we'll select ~15 games from around the country that fit our carefully devised criteria (High-profile Matchups, National Title implications, SEC conference games, whether or not Southeastern is playing) and put them up to you to pick against the spread. We will again use the excellent system from FunOfficePools.com and all of you who played last year were notified last week with instructions on how to rejoin. New player's should go to FunOfficePools.com to setup an account, then come back here and click on the link below. This year's password is: geaux

I'm going mostly chalk with the SEC's opening non-conf slate, though I'm very uneasy about that BYU/Ole Miss game. It's an odd pick, but I'll give FAU the benefit against a large spread on Schnellenberger's farewell tour. Big East title hopeful USF will do us all a favor and shut the echo's up early this year. I don't know who's going to be left to play for Miami, but I'll take the turtles for their snazzy duds. Future BX member SMU pulls my upset of the weekend as A&M is too distracted by the conference move announced earlier in the week (the small band of visiting Mustangs will chant ESS-DOUBLEUEE-CEE just to rub it in.) 12th year SR QB Case Keenum's Heisman campaign will have to start with a big win at home.
