Hey, look! The BlogPoll is out again! There's even more defections from the Cult of Bama, and LSU somehow stays in the top ten. I can't figure it out, either. Read the column here.

Preview of Week 7 below...

#3 South Carolina at #9 LSU

LSU badly needs to bounce back from their first regular season loss in two years. Playing at home at night will help, playing the best team in the SEC East will not. Alabama actually should start rooting for LSU to give itself a schedule boost.

#4 West Virginia at Texas Tech

WVU should roll, but stranger things have happened in Lubbock, home to perhaps the only fanbase more misbehaved than the one in Morgantown. WVU burns couches, I'm pretty sure Tech burns people.

#6 Kansas St. at #25 Iowa St.

Yeah, this is a battle of ranked teams. This makes me beyond happy.

#17 Stanford at #7 Notre Dame

I've been selling Stanford short, but here's a chance to show they belong in the top 25. Notre Dame has been feasting on the Big Ten which is, to be polite, "down". The Pac-12 looked pretty great before all of the teams started beating up on one another, so this could be a big statement win for the conference. Beat a top ten Irish team on the road. No biggee, right?

#12 USC at Washington

USC struggled early with Utah, but in the second half, out came the wolves. The Trojans may be hitting on all cylinders as they get the Huskies on the end of their brutal stretch to begin the season. USC might be the fourth best team they've played the season already.

#15 Texas at #14 Oklahoma

Remember when this game was always for first place? The loser is pretty much eliminated from the conference title race.

#24 Texas A&M at #22 Louisiana Tech

An even more unlikely battle of ranked teams. Yes, Katt. If La Tech wins, I will rank them.
