The Fog of the Rose Bowl wins this week's 2012 ATVS-Geaux Show Pick'em and gets the $10 gift certificate, which he or she can spend on officially licensed LSU Tigers hoodies, jackets, t-shirts and more at the And the Valley Shook licensed store.

We knew my downfall as prognosticator had to come some time, and I nose dived very well this week with 5-8 record that placed me in the 60's. What effect would such a tanking have on the overall? Not very much

What can I say, everybody has a bad week. Rutgers, Oregon St, So Cal, and USC's failure to cover all count as big upsets on the group scale. I was most hung out to dry on my Penn St pick.

Time to regain some ground and pull away from the pack, so time for some out on a limb picks. UL-M in The Battle Of The Hyphenate. A&M take Snow Bowl Part 2, Tulsa and New Mexico St. take some of the shine off of the SEC West. WVU still doesn't play defense and UGA is as inconsistent as any team in the country. Okie St ends the purple dreams of Bill Snyder, but even I'm not crazy enough to pick USC. Not even to cover.
